We get more inquiries than we accept.
That isn’t a brand pose. It’s how a small group keeps margin: one project at a time, fixed price, fixed scope, fixed delivery week. It does not scale up — and that’s the entire point.
Three things we say no to:
– Endless scope changes without budget renegotiation. – Half-decided brands where the brand work isn’t actually settled. – Clients who can’t describe what success looks like.
The fourth, most important one: projects where we don’t believe we’d do anything different. There we say thanks and refer.
When we do take a project, we know we can deliver it. That’s worth four to six declined inquiries a month. Margin holds and the client gets an agency that actually has its head in the project.
